For a while now I've been looking for a way to incorporate a harelip in to one of the characters in the drawings I do. Ever since reading Rules of Attraction where there's a chopper who is turned on by dudes with harelips. He thinks they're cute. Anyway, if you look closely the girl has such a thing, and when it went in, it became kind of a sad picture to look at because the animal is not going to judge her, where as a huge percent of humans would, probably including me.

Ever wondered if next time you hop on a bus, it's going to be driving along and all of a sudden it will fall in to a bus shaped hole?

Philosophising aside, Lachlan, Clag and I are gonna be having a show on December 4 at The Fort in the valley. I'll put up a flyer when one exists.

In Barcelona there was a girl with the best tattoos i have ever seen. It was weird, it put a smile on my face for the rest of the day, and i only saw her for a split second as i walked past her on the zebra crossing. At the top of the sleeve was the Venus de Milo with blue all around her and yeah so i drew a version of it. Shitty first attempt present on the top left.

In the earlier days of TAFE I'd bail on class halfway throughs cause it was shit on a stick, ring my friend Foster from the parking lot, knowing he'd probably bailed on UNI too. Cause I'm a cheapskate it'd be a 12 second phone call "you home?" "yeah" "sweet I'm coming over" click.

It'd be 11am and we're sitting under the house next to the pool (which was about to transform into a Van Gogh painting the way the bong hit made you actually notice the light reflecting off the water. You'd also realise birds make noise for the first time in your life.).

We had a ripper revelation one day. If we are sitting here, on Earth, smoking cones, wondering if life exists elsewhere on other planets in other solar systems, whats to stop there being a human sized lobster alien being, smoking cones, pondering life on another planet......AT EXACTLY........THE SAME.......TIME.

Spent all week on this right and i'm happy with it.......and this morning in the car I was thinking about how a band says Oh my God we're so proud of our latest album, I feel its our best work, so fucken proud, cant wait to get it out there....and yet people think its shit. So I think you can get too wrapped up in how good you think youve done, when youve gotta step back and try and look at it from an outsiders perspective.
